HORIZONTAL MEASUREMENTS: For horizontal measurements you will need your
- Waist
- Hip
VERTICAL MEASUREMENTS: The vertical measurements you need are
- Waist to Hip
- Waist to hem

AMOUNT OF FABRIC NEEDED
For this project, you will need a fashion fabric (like your ankara, or your bridal satin etc) and a lining for the inside of the skirt.
The width of fabric (both fashion fabric and lining fabric) you should cut is: Hip measurement + 35.5 cm (16 in.)
The Length of both fabric should be = waist to hem measurement + 2.5 cm (1 in.)
EQUIPMENT NEEDED
- Fashion fabric
- Lining fabric
- Zip
- Sewing thread to match fabric
- Fabric scissors
- Tape measure Iron and ironing board
- Chalk
- Sewing machine Pins
- Hand sewing needle
NOTES: Always fold fabric right sides together unless otherwise stated. It is important to press every fold to create definite creases. Take a 1.2-cm (½-in.) seam allowance throughout unless otherwise stated.
